If you’ve been to one of our Dyslexia Cafés before, this will feel reassuringly familiar.
🪷The same calm, welcoming space.
🙂The same friendly faces.
💬The same opportunity to talk things through in person, over tea and coffee, with professional support on hand.☕
From 2026, all of our Dyslexia Cafés include a short, gentle opening session to help frame the morning and spark conversation. It’s not a lesson, not a lecture, and not school. It’s simply a shared starting point, designed to make sense of things that many people quietly struggle with every day.
For our March Dyslexia Café, we’ll be exploring memory, focus, and why learning so often feels harder than it should. We’ll gently consider questions such as:
• why remembering can feel so difficult
• why focus is so hard to sustain
• what genuinely helps information stick, without adding more effort or pressure
The opening session runs from 9:45–10:15, allowing time to arrive, settle in, and grab a drink. After that, the space is open for conversation, questions, and one-to-one or family consultations with our specialist team until midday.
You’re very welcome to come for the opening session, drop in later for advice, or simply stay to talk things through. There’s no expectation to do it all.
This café is for adults, parents, and families. You don’t need a diagnosis. You don’t need to know the right words yet. If memory, focus, or learning have always felt like hard work, you are very welcome here.
