Dyslexia Café (Bexhill) 13th June 2026: Transitions That Work

Dyslexia Café (Bexhill) 13th June 2026: Transitions That Work
Transitions can be hard for anyone, but for people with dyslexia they often bring added uncertainty, anxiety, and pressure. Whether it’s moving between classes, changing schools, starting college, beginning a new role, or simply facing new expectations, transitions are often where support slips and difficulties become more visible.
Our June Dyslexia Café focuses on how we can make transitions work better, earlier, and more thoughtfully.
If you’ve been to one of our Dyslexia Cafés before, this will feel reassuringly familiar.
🌿 A calm, welcoming space
🙂 Friendly faces
💬 Time to talk, think things through, and ask questions in person
☕ Tea, coffee, and snacks
From 2026, all of our Dyslexia Cafés include a short, gentle opening session at the start of the morning. It’s not a lesson and not a lecture. It’s simply a shared starting point to help frame the conversation.
In June, we’ll be gently exploring questions such as:
• what support needs to carry forward during transitions
• how needs can be recognised and made visible earlier
• what helps transitions go well in real life, not just on paper
After the opening session, there is plenty of time for conversation, questions, and one-to-one or family consultationswith our specialist team. You’re welcome to come for the opening session, drop in later for advice, or simply stay for a chat.
This café is for adults, parents, and families. You don’t need a diagnosis, and you don’t need to be at a particular stage. If transitions have ever felt harder than they should, you are very welcome here.
