✨ Our May Dyslexia CAFÉ: Tech That Lifts the Load ✨
If you’ve been to one of our Dyslexia Cafés before, you can expect the same familiar feel.
🌿 A calm, welcoming space
🙂 Friendly faces
💬 Time to talk, think things through, and ask questions in person
☕ Tea, coffee, and snacks
From 2026, all of our Dyslexia Cafés include a short, gentle opening session to help set the tone for the morning. It’s not a lesson and not a lecture. It’s simply a shared starting point that helps people make sense of things before the conversation opens up.
For our May Dyslexia CAFÉ, the focus is on technology that genuinely helps in everyday life. We’ll be gently exploring questions such as:
• whether tech can actually make things easier
• how it can remove everyday barriers
• what’s worth trying out, and what’s often more effort than it’s worth
After the opening session, there will be the opportunity to see and try a small range of everyday, non-branded tools in person. There’s no pressure, no sales, and no expectation that tech is the answer. It’s simply a chance to explore what might help you.
As always, after the opening session the space is open for conversation, questions, and one-to-one or family consultations with our specialist team until midday. You’re welcome to come for the opening session, drop in later, or just stay for a chat and a cup of tea.
This café is for adults, parents, and families. You don’t need to be confident with technology, and you don’t need to know what you’re looking for yet. Curiosity is more than enough.
