Our Directors at Dyslexia South East (CIC)
Dyslexia South East CIC was founded by Trudy and Phil Golding, whose shared passion is providing accessible dyslexia help and SEND support for hildren, adults and families across Bexhill and the wider East Sussex community. Their mission is simple: to make understanding and practical guidance available to everyone, not just those who can afford private services.

Trudy is a specialist teacher, assessor and school leader with extensive experience supporting learners with dyslexia and other neurodiverse profiles. Her work focuses on helping individuals build confidence, access learning and reach their full potential.
Phil brings over 30 years of teaching and leadership experience in digital education, alongside a background in developing learning resources and assistive technologies that make education more inclusive.
As parents of four children, they understand the difference that the right support can make — and have built Dyslexia South East CIC to bring compassionate, community-based dyslexia support in Bexhill and beyond.
Alongside our core team, we work closely with a trusted network of experienced freelance assessors, specialist tutors and mentors across Sussex and Kent. Each member of our wider team shares our commitment to early intervention, accessible support and evidence-based practice.
By working collaboratively, we can connect families, schools and individuals with the right expertise at the right time — ensuring high-quality dyslexia and SEND support across the South East.
We’re always keen to connect with others who share our ethos. If you’re a qualified assessor, tutor, or education professional who feels aligned with our values and vision, we’d love to hear from you.
Whether you’re looking to collaborate, volunteer, or explore future opportunities within our growing network, please get in touch — together, we can build stronger, more inclusive communities for learners of all ages.
